Ranksy provides done-for-you SEO and AI visibility for local trade and service businesses across Ireland. This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, get in touch through our form.
What We Collect
- Details you send us. When you request a free audit or make an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form: typically your name, trade, county, phone and email, and any message.
- Where you came from. If you arrive from one of our directories we store a small first-party cookie noting which one, so we can attribute your enquiry. It contains no personal detail beyond the referring site.
- Analytics. We use StatCounter for anonymous visitor statistics, and — only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics for more detail (pages viewed, rough location, device). IP addresses are anonymised. We do not run advertising or sell any data.
How We Use It
To get back to you about your audit or enquiry, provide the service you asked about, and improve the site. We do not sell your details or share them for marketing.
Cookies
ranksy_consent— remembers your cookie choice.ranksy_ref— first-touch attribution (which directory referred you)._gaand related — Google Analytics, only set after you accept.- StatCounter — anonymous visitor statistics.
You can decline analytics cookies in the banner, or clear cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept.
Who Processes Your Data
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection), Resend (sending your enquiry to us by email), and Google Analytics and StatCounter (usage stats, only with consent). Your enquiry details are emailed to the Ranksy team and are not stored in a separate database on this site.
Spam Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile in its invisible mode. It runs in the background when you submit a form and checks that you are a real person rather than a bot, without showing you a puzzle or a tick box. To do this, Cloudflare may collect some information about your visit and device. This is covered by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Your Rights
Under GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Get in touch through our form and we'll sort it.
