Privacy
Ranksy is the control plane for a network of Irish trade directories. This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@ranksy.ie.
What we collect
- Details you send us. When you claim a listing or make an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form — typically your business name, your name, trade, county, phone and email, and any message.
- Where you came from. If you arrive from one of our directories we store a small first-party cookie noting which one, so we can attribute your enquiry. It contains no personal detail beyond the referring site.
- Analytics. We use StatCounter for anonymous visitor statistics, and — only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics for more detail (pages viewed, rough location, device). IP addresses are anonymised. We do not run advertising or sell any data.
How we use it
To get back to you about your listing, set you up on the plan you asked for, and improve the site. We do not sell your details or share them for marketing.
Cookies

You can decline analytics cookies in the banner, or clear cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (sending your enquiry to us by email), and Google Analytics and StatCounter (usage stats, only with consent). Your enquiry details are emailed to the Ranksy team and are not stored in a separate database on this site.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@ranksy.ie and we'll sort it.
